Background and Goals
Welcome to Tailor Made: Crafting Student Leaders, the first dedicated site for Korean American student organizations!
Our goal is to provide you with advice and resources that will help you develop into a sharp, visionary leader of your student organization. On this site, you will find a frequently updated blog, access to our collection of club-related materials, and opportunities to interact with other student leaders from around the country.
Tailor Made was originally conceived as a workshop for KSA leaders and took place at KASCON20 (Princeton University) in March 2006. The topic of the workshop was on the importance of a club’s identity and how student groups could greatly benefit from this awareness. Since then, the positive feedback and encouragement we received from attendees convinced us that a website devoted to student leadership might find an interested audience. Whether you’re looking for event ideas or ways to make your organization more efficient, we hope to provide sound examples and tips that also tie back to the bigger picture of developing a solid identity that can drive your mission forward.
Check back often and feel free to comment on our entries. We also know there are many experts with great experience out there, so if you would like to contribute, please feel free to contact us!
